Shipping
If you're ordering an item that we keep in stock, rest assured that we'll have it assembled, tested, and dispatched within 7-10 days. Depending on the size, we ship via Pallet Ways, and you'll receive a tracking number once it's ready to go.
For more complex solutions, please expect a delivery time frame of between 16-20 weeks. This includes the initial design stage, sign-off from drawings, commencement of production/fabrication, and delivery to the Scayl HQ
For delivery within the UK, please see the following charges, unless otherwise stated:
Spare parts - £9.99 for next day delivery
Palletised goods - £199.99

For international orders, our machines are trusted across the globe, and we're well-versed in safely shipping them to destinations in Europe and beyond. We partner with a specialist company to handle the transportation of machinery, which may add a few extra days to the dispatch process due to our meticulous packaging standards.

Returns
Items from the Phil / Seal range must be returned within 7 working days of receipt, subject to the terms outlined below:
★ Damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
★ Returns for items from the LIN or MAX range are non-refundable. These machines are bespoke to your production line, undergo rigorous testing, and are unlikely to arrive non-functional with your product.
★ Returns for items from the Phil and Seal range are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
★ We strongly recommend consulting with a member of our team before purchasing an item. Our experts can provide guidance on whether a particular machine will suit your product. If a product is purchased without consultation, the return process may be more challenging.
★ If a return is approved, the item must be shipped back to Scayl in the same condition it was received.

The VFFS Series is a high-speed, automated packaging system that forms, fills, and seals bags directly from a roll of film. Designed for efficiency, precision, and flexibility, these machines are ideal for a wide range of industries, including food, pharmaceuticals, and industrial products. The VFFS-420 machine can handle rolls of packaging up to 620mm width, typically giving you a 300mm maximum bag width.

How It Works
1️⃣ Film Feeding & Bag Formation – The machine unwinds a roll of film, forms it into a bag shape, and seals the vertical seam.
2️⃣ Product Filling – The formed bag moves to the filling station, where the product is dispensed via weighers or auger fillers, ensuring precise measurements.
3️⃣ Sealing & Cutting – The bag is securely sealed using heat-sealing technology, then cut and discharged for further processing.
4️⃣ Bag Collection & Quality Control – Choose between an incline conveyor to a rotary table for manual collection or an incline conveyor to a horizontal conveyor with check-weighing and metal detection for full quality control.
