The Wooden Hill Story
Wooden hill are located in Bedford and they pride themselves on their unique blends, involving different elements and influences of coffee into one package.  The team has over 30 years of knowledge and experience and also sell tea and drinking chocolate.

The Problem

Wooden Hill Coffee was packing hundreds of kilos per week into 1KG and 250g bags for wholesale customers. It took their two man production operation a long time to do, all by hand. 

It was important that the solution worked with their compostable packaging and also fitted their ethos of helping the environment. 

The Solution
We installed a Phil 2500, which ticked the environmental checkbox thanks to it's low voltage operation. They also asked for a smaller funnel to fit their packaging, and our solution mean't that their brand could retain that hand packed and loved feel, except this time with speed.
